The beaver safari allows you enrich your holiday in Brasov with an unforgettable experience: watch wild beavers and other animals in uncontrolled conditions. Visit is available April-November. The field trip takes place in the evening (precise hour to be confirmed).
This beaver safari starts from Brasov and transport is included (pick up from other places implies an extra cost). Usually we are successful in seeing wild beavers, but as there are wild animals involved – nothing is guaranteed. In case no beaver show up the first time – we give you a second chance free of charge.

Program Description
Beaver Safari in Transylvania: A Unique Wildlife Experience from Brasov involves a low-to-no level of fitness in most cases.
A wildlife specialist accompanies you at all times, being available to give you information related to beavers, ecology and so on if you are interested.
You need to wear comfortable clothing and shoes (appropriate for the forest), dark and dull colors, long trousers and no strong smells
There is a minimum of 2 persons paying for this tour (so, if you travel alone – you’d have to pay for 2).
You will be requested to not use any lights while taking photos, including the phone screen light if you take selfies.
Important notes:
– beaver safari DOES NOT take place at a hide and you DON’T STAY INSIDE THE CAR
– the beavers are not attracted in any way
– it is crucial you follow the rules set out by your wildlife specialist in order to keep you and the animals safe
– as we are talking about wild animals – there are no guarantees you will see anything, but we offer a second chance free of charge if your first was unsuccessful
– the photo fee is included for non-commercial photos, but you will have to avoid using any lights.
As this is a popular activity – you need to book it in advance.
You will also need to be flexible with timings, as there are several places where we do this activity, and some of them involve more driving than others.
Do keep in mind that you will have to still be in the field for sunset (this means a late return from the field)
Profile
Beaver safari near Brasov requires a low level of fitness. You need to be able to stay relatively still and quiet for a while (no toilet available during the visit)
